Our Committees
Church Council
Breckenridge Lutheran’s Church Council is comprised of members from our committees, and a few other caring folks. Learn more about our church council members here.
Evangelism Committee
New members are guided and welcomed to our church by one of our evangelism committee members. The evangelism committee also works to reach members of our congregation who may be homebound. They also explore ways of getting the word out about Breckenridge Lutheran Church and it’s mission.
Worship Committee
The worship committee meets quarterly with the pastor, accompanists, organists and choir directors to plan the worship service calendar and other worship schedules.
Missions Committee
Our missions committee makes recommendations for congregational giving goals for the annual church budget. They also develop a monthly mission emphases calendar and work on publicity, program details and collection of donations.
Youth Education Committee
Youth education committee works on the development of activities and curriculum for our Wednesday evening education programming. They coordinate with volunteers to teach classes and procure all needed materials for activities and lessons.
LYO Committee
The Lutheran Youth Organization aims to provide encouragement and guidance to the youth of the congregation, grades 6-12, to continue involvement in, service to, and worship through Breckenridge Lutheran Church and their community. We strive to provide our youth with opportunities such as faith-building activities, fundraising, service projects and Christian studies.
